You're welcome! If you run into any hiccups along the way feel free to message me. Ive done some hogs, bears, whitetail and am currently doing alligators. Im by no means an expert but I have found a few tricks along the way!
Made my first euro on my own this year glad you posted the video I like to look around at everyone's tips so I can use that and my experience to do it again next year!
Thanks for the responses everyone! Im putting together a video on DIY skull hooker mounts next. I can make them for under $2 versus the $30 or so that they cost to build!

I think many people hang their mounts without giving a thought to balance, lighting and security. I overthink everything. If you have white walls and don't wanna paint em then using a more traditional mount like this might look better. Especially if you are aligning the mount with overhead lighting to display it with more flair. I like contrast. These are not gonna come crashing down if there's a big earthquake or if accidentally hit by someone either. No diss to the skull mounts mentioned but I think (like most things) each option has it's application and place. A buddy had his mulie euro fall off it's Cabelas skull hooker and shatter...man was he bummed. I like that these are bolted to the plaque which in turn is screwed into a stud. Absolutely secure.
