Thank you both for chiming in. @KyleR1985 how has your accuracy been with the TMK’s so far with all those various guns/loads?

They’ve shot acceptably for me in everything so far that I was aiming for accuracy. Had a little trouble with the dasher/95tmk/8208xbr. Besides that, Varget and lever in every cartridge sent them better than I can shoot really.

I’m not a good source for shooting or loading (sub 2000 rounds of reloading for me). Mostly just giving folks a goal post for velocity in each of those guns.

New Starline brass, cci primers, h4350 , 2.710 coal

Not sure how much 4350 but out of a 20” 243 1:8 tikka I’m getting a MV average of 3080 (first 10 shots out of the barrel) and 1.5” group. No pressure signs so I assume under max load.

Seems like it's perfect from my findings with shorter barrel.

I bet if you added half to a full grain you'd get a stiff bolt.

I have no need to change it. I’m honestly second guessing putting my 6cm barrel on and just sticking with this. I have another 1300 TMKs so I just need to get them loaded as I need them.

I ordered 200 of the 95 TMKs to try in my Tikka 243, 1:8 and messed with them some today. Starline, CCI200 and H4350.

41gr, 41.5gr and (41.8gr., 2994 fps) COAL 2.825”

41.8 grs. shot the best with good accuracy at 200, 300 and 400 yards despite the wind.

I briefly tried 37.5gr of Varget, 41gr of H4350, 47gr H1000 with 95tmks loaded to tikka mag length. Varget shot considerably better. Like dime size 5 shot group.

Ive shot the 6mm 95gr TMK recently in a 6mmAR with an 8 twist barrel. I had not issues with stabilization, or grouping. In fact I would be using this bullet for this rifle from now on if the accuracy node would have been in the velocity band that I needed it to be in, so I am sticking with 107 SMK's. I don't think barrel twist is your problem.
