8,600 Acres Removed from Public Use in North Idaho

Sorry, idelkslayer, I hadn't seen your post when I posted this.

Sad, but not unexpected. The past 10 years up here, people have been absolutely destroying all the land. Tons of people leaving garbage everywhere, leaving motorhomes and busted trailers, burnt vehicles, lots of unauth camping. Then we have the atvs....
I hope they start to really crack down on enforcing it before we lose everything.

And not even camp on it according to their contract.
Dang. If I had the money id byy the rights for at least a year.

I have a feeling we'll be seeing more of this happen in the next few years, especially behind Rathdrum, Around Bunker Hill area and going up north.

Yeah I havent read the amendment that is referenced, but I believe you can camp.

This was in their terms and conditions.

ETA: looks like there are some addendums for camping I didn’t see. The whole contract has several contradictions in it such as the campfire clause but you can’t bring firewood on the property but you’re not allowed to cut or remove any forest product from the property either.
