7prc + scythe ti

All my big mags wear a Q Half Nelson and I've been very happy with it.

I've not seen a scythe come apart but no denying SiCo has an issue. Mine has been good but I've not used it on a magnum.

I recently put one on my 7 prc build. 15 rounds down range and no issues yet .

Seen a couple of those have come part internally as well. Just an fyi. Have another buddy who is using one on his 7 prc and is still together though.
Interesting, I haven't heard of anyone having issues yet. I use it all the time on 5.56 and 7mm PRC. Also having my sons 7mm-08 threaded and will get lots of use on that this year. Hopefully no issues.

Literally never heard of this until I got on these forums and started posting so I could sell a mystery ranch lol.
I hear you. The scythe thing was alarming for a lot of people, myself included. When it first came out it was like the “thing”, light, quiet etc then the failure reports started rolling in. I was glad to unload mine early on, apparently some guys are being offered like 2-300 dollars for their scythes now.

The only really encouraging part of it all is that at least, now it’s faster, easier and cheaper to get a silencer. I waited like 200+ days for my scythe only to find out I could have gotten something better. At least now you can order something else and have it in a few weeks instead of several months.

Sooooo... anyone want to buy a lightly used Scythe? Id make you a hell of a deal!!
In all seriousness, ive had good luck with mine. Id say it has somewhere in the range of 200-300 rounds through it. 22 ARC and 223 gas guns, 6 creed and 6.5 creedmoor. I'll let everyone know when its blows up lol

I know there have been failures on repaired Scythes, but I'm trying to be optimistic that my repaired can will hold. 200 rounds since repair and am counting down the days until I can put my new SRS Grim on it.
