7 PRCW (7-6.5 PRC) for Hunting?

I thought a 30-6.5prc would be pretty neat. Have a velocity edge on 308win and still load well for a short action.

That would be awesome. Like a short magnum 308. They could call it something cool, like a 308 PRC. Or maybe give it a real edgy name, like 300 Winchester short magnum. But I think that might already be taken.

The sad ironic thing is, it would be easier to wildcat the 6.5 back to 300 because the 300 RCM brass is practically nonexistent.
