Federal ELDX 175 - 2935 fps over about 25 shots. This was just one string. Different lot number was running at 2900.

The Hornady ELDX 175 - 2800 fps.

If you choose the bondstrike for hunting I’ll be very interested in how it performs. I found it too late in the process to try out so settled on ELDX but don’t love it.

I’ve had pretty good accuracy from 6.5 and 280 precision hunter with the ELDX.

I’ve had pretty good accuracy from 6.5 and 280 precision hunter with the ELDX.

I’ve had good accuracy with mine. Haven’t measured exact MOA. Just really good SD between shots.

Mines also been pretty good in both the federal and hornady versions. Unfortunately I get lots of stiff bolt lifts with the hornady version so I had to hang up the rifle till I could get my hands on the federal version.

20in Proof Carbon with Banish 30 Gold
20 round stats (same box)
Average = 2905 fps
SD = 14 fps
ES = 53 fps
Lot# B269U31

Shot 0.800 MOA for 7 shots, with two flyers probably on me.

It’s better brass than federal. The bondstrikes are very good bullets. I just wish they had a heavier bullet for the 7prc.

So sounds like hornady 7prc is still garbage and nowhere close to the velocities they claim on the box? I keep going back and forth about whether or not I want to rebarrel my 7mag but trying to sort out the actual gains is very difficult
