I get 2900fps =/- out of my 22" Proof barrel running a 175gr ABLR with 69.3gr N565 out of fired Peterson brass & a Rem 9 1/2 primer. BTO of 2.6650". More importantly, it's an accurate load. I loaded up to 71.3, but saw no accuracy improvement.68.0 grains early on gave me right around 2940 and I just checked my notes, and I got right at 2960 with the same load at around 80 rounds. I'm now at 140 rounds but have not put it over my chrono to see how much velocity I have picked up. I hit pressure signs at 70.5 and accuracy was going south, so I took it back down to the 68.0 grain load that shot really well and that's where I think I'll stay. Obviously work up as every rifle is different.
No clickers, I don't know about group sizing, I was shooting steel at 500 yards, 18"x18" plate. Using 2x fired Peterson brass. Those are pretty good numbers, what were your groups like? Also did you run into any clickers?
Have a gunsmith touch it up with an AW2 reamer. All of the PRC cases have the potential to develop clickers, especially if you stand on it with your load. That's the unfortunate dilemma with cute tolerances that end up interfering. That’s good to know, I started running into issues on my 6.5 PRC after my 5th reload on Peterson and Lapua brass.
If you send a request through their website they have data for all of their bullets. This is pretty freaking awesome! Thanks man!
Note: 26" barrel.Berger data with 175 elite hunter. I would think the data would be similar to the 175 eldx.

jzs0040, where did you get the reamer from? Did you just spin it by hand? Thanks! My favorite 7 PRC combo has been with N565 and 180 Berger VLD-H's in a 20" Proof CF.
I had an incredibly hard time the first 250+ rounds with this gun until I touched up my chamber with the AW2 reamer. I would get heavy bolt lift/swipes/you name it on loads that shouldn't even have been close to pressure. Once I hit the chamber by hand with the AW2 reamer everything was great. It was very intimidating to try it, but it is really easy.
There was a rokslide member by the name of charliehorse27 that had a 6.5 and 7 PRC AW2 reamer that he was renting out. I'd recommend sending him a DM and he was super easy to work with.jzs0040, where did you get the reamer from? Did you just spin it by hand? Thanks!
Care to share your load info?I compared H1000 and N565 at the beginning of my load development and they had similar velocity but N565 was more accurate. I have a 24” proof barrel and am using the 175 ELD-X. So far I have a good load at 2940 FPS and another that I’m planning on revisiting a bit over 3000. I really like N565. Use it in my 300 PRC and have also used it for 6.5 PRC.
N565 has worked best for me . My hunting load is 69.4gr N565 with the 175 ELD-X.Care to share your load info?
Loading up some eldx with n565 and might also try h4831. Haven't loaded for the 7prc yet
How's the case fill in that load?N565 has worked best for me . My hunting load is 69.4gr N565 with the 175 ELD-X.
About 99-99.5% in my Peterson brass, according to GRT.How's the case fill in that load?
I'll have to see if I still have notes for that barrel, I sold it a while back.Care to share your load info?
