I didn’t notice any unburnt powder left behind in the suppressor, but according to GRT I’m around 94% burned.

I don’t disagree with your logic though on using something quicker for a more complete burn. Post your results and let us know how it goes!
How did you get 7 PRC in GRT? My updated version doesn't include it. Are you using a predecessor wildcat?

There was a download for it on discord.

You can also take a 7 blaser mag and tweak the specs if you’re up to it.

Thanks. I can't seem to login to the GRT discord server because it says my email is already registered and I can't verify it. Geez!

@TxLite Any chance of getting a read on powder burn for my current 7PRC load? 168LRX 67.5 g RL 26, 2974 fps, 20” barrel

I’m just curious
Obviously this is just going to be a rough estimate without knowing case capacity and seating depth. This is at 3.34”

To get to your velocity, it’s showing 3.22” COAL with a 96.8% burn rate @ 70,471psi

Is there any way you, or anyone else, could send me the 7 PRC update file for GRT? I am getting nowhere with the Discord support bot. I registered in 2018, but did not verify my account, and can't do it now because I don't remember my password from 6 years ago. Like Elvis, I'm caught in a trap.

Thx. I’m sitting at 3.20 COAL, ADG brass. so that’s probably pretty close. A dumb question, is that burn rate decent for my set up, or low? Is there anything I can do to improve it? Or should I even care?

100% is obviously ideal, but I think I read somewhere if you are above like 92% or something you are fine.

If it is shooting good with decent velocity spreads, I wouldn't worry about it personally.

There are quite a few posts on 7 PRC loads on here. I have used H1000 with the best accuracy results with both 168 LRX and 175 ELDX bullets but have also tried varies powders including IMR4350 with 150 gr TSX with excellent accurate loads. I didnt have as much success with ABLR bullets in my 7PRC with short 18 inch barrel but H1000 and N570 were OK.

Im in Canada and h1000 seems hard to come by... I have 4831 and 7828 available and can pick up the VV powders just not sure which to get. Some data shows the n560 faster than the n565 which seems strange to me...

I like 565 over 560 for that cartridge. I picked up some 570 seems to be what most are having best luck with

Has anyone tried Ramshot Grand? On paper it looks like it should produce some pretty good velocities, and it is temperature stable. I think I might pull the trigger and buy some to try and work up some loads.

The new Staball HD variety looks pretty good for the 7mm PRC in Hodgdon's data, and is fairly available online, that's going to be my first powder to try when I get my 7mm PRC.

Older local guy in town who's helped me some reloading gave me some to try, He had good initial results in his 7saum and a 162 Eldx. 2930fps and good groups, very small sample size. On paper it looks worth buying a pound and testing it out to see.

Sweet. I'm going to go ahead and give it a shot. I'll be shooting 160ish grain hammers out of it so it should line up pretty well.
