The 109 eldm shot really well with long jumps, the 112 Barnes match burner does as well, 50k jump or so. That bullet has a fair bit more bearing than a Berger as well.

I suspect, that’s 50k would be the absolute minimum judging by what I got, I’m think closer to 75k-100k

I’m not super concerned either way the 108’s are looking perfect for case capacity/ jump so I assume the 109’s or even some TGK/tmk will work fine.

I bet the Berger even with long jumps shoot great.

This is my first post, hope I am getting this right.

I am just finished a Tikka 6PRC build and I am looking for advice on bullet selection and starting load information.
There is a Moose, Deer, and Wolf hunt waiting for me soon!

The build is as follows:
New SS 6.5 PRC, replaced the barrel with an Ace Tikka sporter profile 20" long with a 1:7.5 TW .236" 6 groove.
The reamer has the Wheeler butt, .277 neck and .158 freebore. [PTG reamer]
UM premier rings, Maven RS1.2 scope......
Rokstock is due Monday!!

I am using ADG 6.5 PRC brass necked and turned to .015 wall.
My plan was using 115 NR dtac or 108 eldm. I have a variety of primers and powders available.

I would love to hear recommendations on bullet selection for the moose and load info.
