I have a Ruger American gen 1 6 creed and have been really happy with it. I replaced the stock with an MDT Field stock and changed over to AICS mags. That made a world of difference, feeds substantially better. It’s not a light weight gun, but I love it. I shoot 103 grain ELD-X and have killed mule deer, whitetails, and coyotes out to 350 yards and it lays them down every time . Extremely happy for a $480 rifle.

I had complete pass throughs on both front shoulders of a mature mule deer last fall at 300 yards. He made it about 20 yards. It’s also hell on coyotes.

Ended up buying a Tikka T3x Stainless literally threaded in 6.5 creedmoor yesterday. Got some 40 eldms.

um rings and 3-9 Accupoint going on top. Green mil dot reticle. Hopefully be able to start practicing my holds in the near future after I get my dope.

That’s a crazy good trigger that comes with that rifle. I’m impressed after dealing with the flex-0- magic stock problem.

Have several of the CZ 600 Alpha's, first thing done to each out of the box, saw off some of the fore-end and put JB Weld in the partitioned off areas. Takes care of the "flex-o-magic stock".
A couple of the fore-end remnants laying below in the picture.
And yes, the trigger is awesome!
