For extreme cold weather hunting, yes! For lowest possible SDs and match shooting, SRP is the way.

I have been using cci 400 for 4 yrs now with no problems and tested 100rds down to 10deg F using peterson brass and H4350

I’m getting ready to start my load development in a 20” ruger with a raptor can.

I’ve enjoyed hammers in my 300 so I’m going to try 90gr hhts in hornady brass, hoping to find some rl-16. Pure hunting, no comps. I’m thinking of using my fed 215m primers, as I have lots of them. Any negative thoughts on that?

You should be good, work up the load as usual. If you get Wierd SDs might be too hot of a primer but Fed 215 are not too bad .
