Hornady data only lists varget for temp stable, barnes lists zero temp stable powders, Sierra lists 8208 which could be promising. 22 inch howa mini, would be nice to get 2900 fps at that's over 2k fps to 450 yards. 2850 would be over 2k to 420 yards so that's fine too but faster is always better for copper. There's a ton of powders that should work that don't have any data so has anyone used any of these on 90-95 grain bullets in 6 arc? Staball match, h4895, n130, n140, n150 or ? Ive run most of these in GRT with mixed results, they don't really seem to line up with what i've seen others loading at but who knows.

Define temp stable within your parameters?

I think temp stability, while it can matter, is also a bit overblown.

Varget is never a bad choice when applicable.

I have good luck with Varget using the 95gr LRX. It is a little compressed, but no need for a dropper tube.

I just worked up until I saw pressure signs, the dropped down a half of a grain. It’s probably still a little hot, but it shoots so well I haven’t messed with it.

You didn’t ask but 95 LRX were disappointing to me at 6 Creed velocities. I’d definitely be exploring other mono options like Hammer bullets if you must shoot monos.

Wound channels from a LRX @ 2K fps is less than desirable.

Have you seen this thread on here?

Looks like 8208 or maybe leverevolution could be good options.

Lever gives good speed, but poor temp stability.

8208 seems to shoot pretty well, but it seems to work better for heavier bullets. I’ve only tested it with fairly mild loads, I’ll be curious to see if it gets better at higher pressures with the lighter bullets.
