That boy is a toad! Great job!View attachment 1053294Put another tally mark up for the 109 eldm out of the 6cm. 127yards, didn’t do a necropsy but found fragments immediately under the nearly 1/2” hide through 3” layer of fat on his ribs. Ol boys head was covered is scars and ear split.

Negative. Offside was clean, but I wasn’t digging around. While caping, some hounds started going off around a half mile away. Caped and gutless method quartering, and we bounced. Hounds aren’t legal here and I didn’t want to meet them or their owners at 9pm, carrying a bear, with no cellphone service.Any of the bullet make it all the way through?

Looks like it’s the AB A10 not the raptorNice shot, talk about only getting one chance at the shot.
Is that a raptor and if so what is that end cap?
Thanks!Nice shot, talk about only getting one chance at the shot.

Nice shooting. What's the first thump from?Another kill with 109 eldms. 317 yards, he ran about 20 yards.
If you’re referring to the bump that shook the camera, I just bumped my tripod getting into position to shoot. It was very fast paced, trying to film with a phone and a magview attachment on my binos.Nice shooting. What's the first thump from?

That is nice!!! What cartridge and velocity, and did you open it up for bullet damage inspection? The 95gr. 6mm bullets "seem to me" are on the lite side for extended range performance, and NO, I do not have any first hand experience with them. But after your post, I feel I shouldn't count them out for my 6mm build in the works. Thank you for the post.95 tmk at 315 yards. Missed the wind call and hit him dead center in the shoulder. Dropped in his tracks and was death moaning within seconds.
8 twist tikka 243 with an impact velocity of 2365fps. Didn’t do much inspection on this one just because it was late when we got to him. If you look back through this thread at post #2996, I have a more detailed post about the 95tmk on a cow elk at 434 yards. My personal experience with them hasn’t led me to feel one bit like they wouldn’t kill anything I wanted as long as I stayed within the velocity threshold. That is nice!!!
