Just checking to see if anyone has had any experience with the 223 69gr TMK. I've got a 1:9 twist 16" barrel I think it would run ok in I just haven't ever used it. Let me know any experiences, good or bad. Thanks!

What is your use for? Targets, varmints, big game?

I'd only have one rifle for hunting everything in Indiana if 223 was legal for deer here. No experience with TMK's but smk's have been rough on everything I have ever put one in.

My preference is a 77gr SMK in an 18" 1/7 twist. Obviously shot placement is key. Significant meat damage on the whitetail I took (lunged). Headshot a Caribou at 128 yards, dropped immediately. just know where your rifle hits with that specific load and don't take a shot in the field that you haven't taken/practiced before.
