.272Ok I would have thought my Whidden dies would have come with the bushing needed but that wasn’t the case. I have a single fired piece of ADG brass here along with my 6.5 brass that hasn’t been necked down. A bullet squeezes into the fired brass with minor neck tension measured at .271-.275 depending on where I’m at on the neck.
My brass measures out at .014x2 .028+243 equaling .271 minus a thousandth for neck tension would be a .270 bushing but I see most are running .271 and @Ryan Avery is running a .273 bushing in the H.O.G rifle. I know I am probably overthinking it but what bushing should I go with for the new 6UM head stamp brass ultimately?
If you're still looking message me I've got 115gr deep cut coated I'll get you 100.got my Whidden dies in, but I’m fairly certain I’ll have my rifle before the 100 pieces of brass that are on back order so I think I’m going to buy some 6.5 saum brass and neck it down, what bushing size steps have worked well for this?
Also, does anyone have 100 dtacs they would part with? I have match burners and vlds, but would like to try some dtacs before I buy 500
