What bore diameter have you been using on the ACE 6 UMs and 6/7 PRCs? I got the impression that ACE favors 0.236 bore diameter. I have seen 236 bores blamed for earlier pressure and bullet failures by gunsmiths so I'm curious if that is what you've been using with these fire breathers?

My 6UM barrels have all been Benchmarks. This is my first Ace in 6mm. Don't quote me but I think you are correct the the .236.

Can't wait to see how this bad girl runs for you Ryan. Mine is in-line to be picked up in May.
It will be my first Tikka and first small caliber biuld.
Big step going from hard core Remington and bigger is better to this. I love to experiment so we will see.

133 Berger, 22” barrel, 3333 is pretty warm with rl26, but I’m in the process of trying some n565 now

How is it comparing to the 6 UM?. Recoil and all that. I assume this is just fire forming so velocity isn't settled in yet.
If I remember correctly you are about 3350 with the 6 UM.

I’m the one that shot it. The recoil is nearly the same, no way to tell them apart just shooting. MV should end up about 40-60fps faster at like pressure for the 6-7PRC.

For the record, I talked to Blaine on Thursday about a 6mm barrel and he said he had to help you neck those down.
