6 PRC reloading

Roll sizer is an option. Spendy piece of kit tho for one issue, but it would solve it.

Could call PBB get a copy of their reamer print. Send the print off to JGS and have them duplicate it, but just change 0.200 line dimension to 0.535. Clean the heck out your chamber/throat and then hand ream your chamber. Other reamer companies are out there and prob faster, but JGS is prob the highest quality and ground to spec option.

The reamer is def cheaper than a roll sizer. I own a rollsizer, I could shrink your base down to 0.531, it'd only cost you an hour of my time(pending quantity of brass) plus round trip shipping.
I’m not privy to roll sizing but is it a one and done type deal? Then I can size with my regular Redding die or will the brass grow with each firing

It'll usually need done every firing, sometimes less. Another option is lowering the powder charge to lower psi, less expansion at the web area.

What do your cartridge bases measure pre and post sizing? Micrometer typically gives better resolution VS a caliper.

.533 fired and .532 sized with a Redding bushing die. The cortina mandrel might gain .0005 of sizing tops

Yeah you need be 0.531 or less, new brass is around 0.529 I believe.

I have had the best luck using the bullet central micron prc die, they size the smallest(also quite pricey) . They'll take 534-5345 brass fired in a 535 base chamber, down to 531-532, no clickers in my 6 25 or 65 prc chambers. The RCBS matchmaster dies are the next tightest die I've used.

Have you tired putting a well lubed fired case through the cortina small base mandrel body prior to running it through your redding die?
