Depends how thick the necks are on the 6.5 brass and how much neck tension you want. Also, my sole experience with simple neck down wildcats was to doing the neck down in 2 or 3 steps with progressively smaller bushings to avoid ruining brass and keeping it a little more concentric.

.270-.271 bushing for Lapua brass. Not sure about the other brands though.

Fwiw Im using a .268 SAC bushing and necking ADG down in 1 step with no issues then opening up to .271 with a mandrel.

I believe he's saying he uses a mandrel that's the proper size to open the OD of the neck up to .271
