6 prc/ 6 saum

I’m looking at having a barrel spun up in either 6 prc or 6 saum. I have to get a reamer for my gunsmith no matter which one I choose. Planning a 20 inch barrel.

I have a bunch of new 7 saum brass that would be ideal to use if I did a 6 saum but I don’t want to neck turn and have no idea if that’ll be necessary.

Seems like most people are doing .180 freebore for the heavy bullets.

There isn’t a reason other than I already have a magnum short action that just needs a barrel and not a standard bolt face. Also, fast is fun

No disagreement here on that. At some point burning through barrels gets old. If you're good with that then I'm happy to sit on the sidelines and watch. haha
