That's not mine, but there's a lot to like about that little 6mm. I watched it crush a few deer last year at extended distances, and it's a dream to shoot.I think I saw on the socials that @Ryan Avery has a dasher now... curious to his thoughts on it for a short barrel

Lever sounds magic for speed but I can’t t t over wanting more temp stability.I didn’t want to wait for line to go cold to take a picture of group, so I don’t get to show the results. But 108eldm over lever has shot small from day 1 in my howa mini dasher 16”.
I got some alpha brass to swap in for Peterson.
I picked up almost 40fps with the additional capacity, across the 8 I loaded and shot today.
Also, for anyone wondering how lever acts in a dasher, when the load is right:

Don’t buy Peterson - if you are just shoot a 6ARC haha.
While I impatiently wait for my barrel to show up I figured I’d prep some brass. What’s the preference between magnum primers or just regular small rifle? I have cci 450’s and BR-4’s on hand.
BR4 is basically the same as a 450 as stated. Believe they also have same cup thickness. Tested both back to back in 6cm, 10fps different. BR4 were actually faster. While I impatiently wait for my barrel to show up I figured I’d prep some brass. What’s the preference between magnum primers or just regular small rifle? Decided to give an area 419 sizing die a try along with a more streamlined lube method.
A419 confirmed for me this die is cut to work with an alpha legacy chamber.
This die does all three operations like my sac die (size, mandrel, decap). I could never go back to doing any of those steps separately
10 testers sized very smoothly.

I have run CCI450s in Dasher for years (as have many other PRS competitors). I run CCI450s for the thicker cup. While I impatiently wait for my barrel to show up I figured I’d prep some brass. What are you using for sizing lube?
Maybe a little, that said I will have 3 fully setup dasher builds by the end of the year with a spare barreled action for comp stuff. My dasher seaters are stacked even deeper, I do t like having to change stuff. So you have like $700 in Dasher sizing dies now? You crazy.
Might as well get the SAC universal seater, I run the same exact die for everything from 22br to 7saw, don't change the stem or anything. You will have to raise or lower the die depending on case length as the micrometer doesn't have enough travel to seat 22 bullets at 2.4 coal, and big heavy 65s and 7s at 2.97 coal. It'll eliminate a bunch of dies and simplify stuff, especially on a turret press.Maybe a little, that said I will have 3 fully setup dasher builds by the end of the year with a spare barreled action for comp stuff. For dasher atleast, this a419 die might be the one if I was only buying one. Kind of makes me want a m series die….
So far zero regret dumping the 223
Iv always just applied imperial with my fingers, but just started experimenting with Dillon/lanolin spray. What are you using for sizing lube?
I use an arbor press for all my seating and have their fancy seater sitting in my cart….Might as well get the SAC universal seater, I run the same exact die for everything from 22br to 7saw, don't change the stem or anything.
