I think the 6 Creed is pretty optimized, it's a better shoulder angle than the 243, and obviously not as sharp as the 40° on the AI (which I found to be a pain in the ass to bump shoulders consistently, and can feed funny sometimes). To me it's not worth it between those 2, get good creed brass or neck down to 6-284 and send it.

I agree with others on the H1k being too slow, I used H4831SC/IMR 4831 in mine with great results. I can't remember the exact number but I ran a 105 VLD up to almost 3200fps on a pressure ladder in a 22" Ruger barrel, and I still didn't have any significant pressure signs on Hornady brass.

I think you'll be happy. I didn't have a can when I still had my 6, but even my current 20" 25 Creed is not unpleasant to shoot unbraked with a limbsaver pad, and is flat awesome to shoot with a can.

I love nerding out about combinations but to he honest just step back and ask what does 150fps do realistically in terms of practicality of hunting/shooting compared to the fact there is lots of easy brass and even quality ammo available in 6creed.

Also if you want to pick up a little distance the 109eldm instead of the 108 is an option, its a decent BC jump.

Yeah I was planning to avoid that one lol MY C6 shoots great but I’m not waiting 11 months on a barrel. Mine was only 20 weeks fortunately

The easy button definitely favors the straight 243 and 6 Creed especially if you factor in factory ammo. With regard to factory ammo there's probably more high BC heavy for caliber ammo available for the 6 CM then there is the 243 Winnie.

If you're buying a new off the shelf rifle there's probably more options available in 243 Win then there is 6 CM.

They're basically identical in performance so if you're loading your own I don't think one has any real advantage over the other.

I’ve only had 1 pbb and wasn’t overly impressed. PVA sale does interest me though. It seems like their barrels have shot well for folks

My 284win PBB shoots well so far but I was leaning PVA for a creed barrel.
