All good info. I appreciate everyone’s feedback. If anyone sees brass at a decent price, let me know.

Hey if you don’t mind me asking.. what is your recipe you use for the 124 hammer hunter?I had a Weathermark LT. It shot the factory 127 lrx load the best at around 1/2 moa. The 140 accubonds were a solid 3/4 moa. My wife killed a nice mulie with the 127 lrx at around 200 yards. 1 shot. I killed a 5x5 bull elk with the 140 accubonds at 80 yards. Hit him twice but only needed the first shot, it did him in pretty good. Both bullets exited.
I worked up a load with a 124 hammer hunter and RL25 that shot pretty good, 1/2-3/4. It was fast, around 3250, out ran my 6.5 prc by 100 fps if I remember right, may have been faster. Pretty sure I just tossed all my targets and notes from that rifle last week. Really it is a pretty great round for fast and flat shooting.
Partitions, while a fine bullet, would not be my first choice for accuracy testing.Today I tried, 140 Nosler Partions, COAL 3.327, BR200 and 62,64,66 grains of RL25 with not much success groups were not sub MOA (just over) I have shot the Barnes factory with 1/2-3/4" MOA ...Should I try Retumbo? I am just getting into this reloading and would love any assistance.
While not SykesI would like that recipe also
can i get a starting point on powder grains for the 140 accubond? It would be helpful and maybe save a little cash trying too many loads..Partitions, while a fine bullet, would not be my first choice for accuracy testing.
In my 2 rpms I'm having good luck with retumbo & imr 8133 with 127 lrx , 140 ab, 140 tmk, 143 eldx.
Fed 215M primers
The Weatherby factory barnes 127lrx load is us 869. Which is even slower burning than retumbo
