6.5 RPM experience?

I'm trying to decide between the RPM and 257WBY. Wondering if anyone has tried lighter mono's like a 99 Hammer in the 6.5 RPM? I like the speed of the 92 Hammers and 100 Barnes in the 257, but also like the versatility of being able to run 140 class in the RPM. I don't think I'd be debating these two if I were talking custom rifle as I'd go fast twist 257. I'm looking to pick up the new Mark V Apex. If the RPM can spit out a 99 Hammer at close to 257 speeds with 92 - 100gr pills, I think I'd go with it.

Remember that the RPM rounds get the significantly lighter 6 lug action. That plus the super short suppressor friendly barrel is the reason a Backcountry in 338 RPM will be my next rifle.

That 6 lug action is nice. I did decide on the 257 Bee in the new Apex. Mostly came down to I wasn’t going for the lightweight backcountry and 6 vs 9 lug didn’t matter. I think I’ll also get the backcountry in 6.5 RPM and just have both for different purposes.
