Good to know. With the 4831sc being faster burning than H1000, does that equate to faster velocity or just hits high pressure faster with less powder? My preference of powder for 6.5 PRC in order is:
1. n565
2. H4831sc
3. H1000

I found the H4831 to be slower if loading according to book, but your also using less powder. I imagine that if you loaded 54.5grs side by side, H4831 would likely produce higher velocity.Good to know. That’s stacking them in there! What’s your rifle build for that?I found the H4831 to be slower if loading according to book, but your also using less powder. I imagine that if you loaded 54.5grs side by side, H4831 would likely produce higher velocity.
In my 6.5prc with a 20" barrel, im getting 2768 w/ 54.5grs of H4831sc. Although 54.0grs gave me a. 2" group, at 54.5 im still at .5".
Still playing with it and still breaking in virgin brass.
It's a Seekins PH3.That’s stacking them in there! What’s your rifle build for that?
