What would be the min speed fragmentation for the 107 TMK ?
Out of a 12.5in I'd get 2100 with the 129 ablr; 2250 out of the 120 gold dot and probably 2350 out of the 107TMK with XBR.

Not sure about fragmentation - that’s tough to define - but upset/expansion should be good to 1800 for TMKs and likely as low as 1600. No data behind mg statement just pulling from what I’ve read / studied on TMKs for multiple calibers.

I am running a 20” and 12.5”.

I got 2400fps in the 12” with the 120GD and 2700fps with the 20”. Handloads using CFE to mag length.

Snagged some 100g ELD-VT recently. Better BC than the 120 GD, “should” expand slower, and I’m hoping for somewhere close to 2550-2600 out of the 12.5”.

Personal opinion that the 130 class and larger bullets are probably losing too much steam in the shorter setups. I like the ABLRs on my 20”. Last time I chrono’d they were going just shy of 2600fps.

I have a handful of Grendels but rarely use them. I'd give my left nut to try the 107 TMK. From a deer/bear/elk's perspective, that would be the Lucifer of lead.

I use 32.0 grains of LVR in Starline cases with CCI450 primers. This is in a Howa mini, I would carefully work up to this in an AR.

I’ve gotten stupid velocities out of a 20” AR with a Bartlein barrel with the 97 grain Absolute Hunter (2900+). But the BC sucks on them.

Ive taken a pile of coyote, coon, fox, skunk, and a couple deer with the 95 vmax. They fly nice and open up well in my 14" scout and 20" rifles. Exterminator has been my powder of choice. 30.5gr and a 95vmax does 2825 to 2850

I've shot 123gr eldm at a bunch of of different critters, and have never been disappointed with the performance. Deer are the largest I've pointed it at, but it does really well there.
