I assume thats why the TMK are green?I'd pick the 130 TMK because it's what I have amd I feel more like a Rokslider using them.
Exactly, imagine being in the woods and seeing someone else shooting an eldx too, that’s gonna suck. Tmks are for the boysI'd pick the 130 TMK because it's what I have amd I feel more like a Rokslider using them.
I’m a big sierra fan and I too was disappointed with the 165 TGK in .30 cal. I couldn’t get any decent group in a couple of different rifles. Not the same bullet, but the 130 Tipped Game King is the one and only bullet I could not get to shoot in multiple 6.5CMs. I have some 143s, 140 Partitions, 147s, 139s, and 140 VLDs to choose between for elk and deer.

140eldm 143eldx 147eldm should all have very similar performance. Let accuracy, cost, and availability determine what you go with.Resurfacing this thread. Looking to get my 6.5 CM set up for elk this fall. Have read the small caliber threads and listened to Form on the exo podcast too.
If I’m starting out fresh, making a switch from mono to fragmenting bullet, and I don’t currently reload; is the 147 Eldm the one to go/start with?
Assume they all would shoot accurately in my rifle…
Any reason to try and get a custom ammo loader to go with the 130 TMK over the factory Eldm options?
Likely splitting hairs, but wanted to ask the group.
I’m with you on bond strikeNone of those, shoot the Norma Bondstrike.
There now y'all can have something to argue about.
