6.5/7 PRC Build

Out of curiosity, what advantage would the 6.5/7 PRC have over a 6.5 Weatherby RPM throated like the 6.5 PRC? Based on the info I have been able to find, the 6.5 RPM has only one grain less water capacity than the 7mm PRC (81 gr vs 82).

I couldn't tell you. I have not researched the 6.5 Weatherby. Maybe ADG brass?

Peterson brass is available for the RPM and I think that is supposed to be good brass (at least I tell myself that because I use Peterson 280 AI brass ).

What freebore is everyone using for a 156, 0.225 or so?

The freebore in my chamber is .340 and a freebore diameter of .265.

I've just started working with the 156. will update when I have more data.

Gun smith said his freebore was .180. Here’s a 156 touching the lands
