I took this bear at 350 yards with the 147 eldm and I was impressed. Entered just behind her front right leg and exited just in front of the opposite rear leg. Diagonal shot right through the middle of middle, dropped her instantly. Pencil in, pencil out. Folks will correctly comment on the fact that not all of the energy was dumped into the bear but the hydrostatic shock caused by that pass-thru is absolutely devastating. Ballistics for that rifle reflect an impact velocity of 2250 and energy of 1650 at 350 yards. I've also taken two mule deer inside 200 yards with that same bullet, happy with results there too.
