5 Reasons to Always Carry Whiskey

What IS the difference between the two???? I've never really cared to investigate, but if it's a simple answer....let's hear it.

The actual difference has to do with the amount of corn mash, what type of barrel it is aged in and proof of the mash among other things. The loose answer is if its made in KY it is bourbon but bourbon is made in other smaller distilleries in the US. Kentucky Straight bourbon is only made in Kentucky.

To add to that, Canadian whiskeys are blends (i.e crown, pendelton, black velvet, etc) and imho are only useful for mixers.

A good Irish whiskey is nice, but no where near the level of a nicely aged single barrel sour mash (blantons, four roses, Willett, etc)

I'm assuming you're talking about Jack Daniels? No thanks, I'd rather drink turpentine with a radiator fluid chaser. but I imagine Jack Daniels probably wouldn't be too awfully bad for cleaning out wounds and lighting fires.
