5-7 day November Elk Hunt Pack Recommendations

What pack do you guys recommend for backcountry Wilderness 5-7 day hunts? Hiking in on foot with everything needed for the entirety of the hunt.

I have an EXO K4 5000 and I am very happy with it. I previously had the K3 4800. I have packed out a couple super heavy loads in order to beat weather windows or wildfires and the K3 performed well in those instances. did have issues with the hip belt and squeaking when loaded on the K3 (not good for archery). Exo took care of me and helped me into a K4. The K4 solved both of the mentioned issues. Good customer support and good products.

I went with the 23.5" frame but I am only 5'6 They had a good video about sizing that I watched to make my decision.

I do a 12 day backcountry deer hunt in September using a K3 4800 and that works great. For late October/November 5-7 day hunts I bump up to the 6400 bag. I have bulkier clothing and transition from a quilt to a sleeping bag. The larger bag makes packing everything in easier and not as cramped.

November conditions can definitely call for more pack volume: 5,000 at a minimum, maybe as much as 7,200 depending on how cold and type of shelter.

Anything big that can be compressed down to daypack size. Stone Glacier has options.
