Just saying it's different. Thick 4-5 ft brush in my areas make a moose killed at long range near impossible to find afterward, so it's a kill them at close range affair for us. You look like you have the set up and terrain to make it work.
I'll beg to differ on the success odds of jump shooting moose though. Once a legal bull is spotted from a distance, it has been my experience that walking in on them results in dead moose a majority of the time. ESPECIALLY during the rut. Come from in slow from down wind, rake brush, and grunt once in a while. High odds they will either come to you or at least stick around to see what you are.
They typically just aren't that flighty IME.... and that is more than a couple of moose.
