It is, don't listen to Ryan he thinks turkey hunting is stupid. Turkey hunting is closer to elk hunting than whitetail hunting is. Its very interactive, at least for the kind we have, your mountain birds are different. Any time you want to try your hand at it, come on out and we'll get you on a bird.

Dude, you can't convince me that a turkey is worth hunting EVER! unless I am starving to death, then I would just shoot one in the head with a rifle or hit it with my truck. Its just an ugly bird that gets way to much air time on hunting channels!

Like elk hunting in that it's interactive, you call they call back and talk them in. Now i suppose thats not your kind of elk hunting. Yes the different sub species behave a bit different.
