Ryan picked up his custom rifle from Hells Canyon and just drilled a stump at 1200 with it....so we should be good now.

Wish we had that last night.

I'm still freezing at the LPOP.....

That is a killer bull- bust him up!
Ryan can shoot those cannons a long ways, so man I hope he gets the chance.

My productivity is shot for the day now

I'm Jones'n almost as bad as Ryan is wanting him to lay the smack down on that bull with the Norma!
Hope he shows soon!

Its foggy/snowy as a mother forker right now, so he could be fornicating like a fool right now and we'd have no idea!

Had to break down and build a fire:)

While I enjoy seeing alternative hunting styles... all I'm going to say is that you guys sure do it differently than our moose camp! I suspect your current method is going to work out just fine, but talk about a polar opposite approach.

You also have more patience than I do. If you kill'em, you are going to have to walk ALL the way over there any way... At this point I'd be bored with watching and well on my way. :)

If the long range thing doesn't pan out, I can vouch that jump shooting big bulls in the brush and fog is an adrenalin high of the first order.

Good luck!

Can u get a tag every year for moose?

I'm guessing yes...

We're not sure where the bull is, but hoping he's on the edge of dog hair thick timber, so if he runs in that we're screwed!

Took 17 years to draw the tag and jump shooting, while exciting, isn't a high percentage method in this case.

If you could draw the tag every year, I'm sure we'd be jump shooting like crazy.
