44 Mag Lever

I have several Henrys, including a 44, as well as a Marlin and a Winchester. In my opinion of the new make lever guns Henry is the best. They don't screw around with crappy add on safety buttons on switches like all the other makes. The safety built into the hammer is covert and doesn't add anything to the exterior of the action. The Ranger Point Precision trigger sear is the only thing I do to mine besides lube and cycle the action a few hundred times when they're brand new.

Don't forget that Smith and Wesson just entered the game too.

I want a 44 magnum lever gun, but with all the iterations out there, nobody makes what I want.

Stainless, 16" bbl, synthetic, straight stock, drilled and tapped for scope.

I like the looks of the S&W but its heavier than both the Henry and the Marlin. Not sure why these levers need to be so heavy..

I’d sign up for the exact same thing! I like the Henry, but wish I could get in stainless and synthetic, and wish they’d bring the comb up some.

I put a 2x pistol scope on my Rossi. The mount is forward of the ejection port, kind of like a scout scope. I’ll try and post a pic when I get back home.

.44 Mag is fun in a rifle.
I've wanted a Ruger 77/44 for many years. ...Never have managed to pick one up.

I do have a Marlin 1894 chambered for the cartridge. (1993 vintage, I believe.)
Light recoil. 10-round magazine capacity (advertised as 9, I believe...). Fun little rig.
