4 pin sight arrangement

I am just getting back in to bow hunting. I used to bow hunt quite a bit through high school and younger so I am not a complete greenhorn.

I recently bought a new bow with a Trophy Ridge 4 pin sight. I will be using this bow and sight for a 3d shoot here in a few months, but I know that there will be a few shots out to 60 yards.

I was thinking about setting the top 3 pins as 20 yards- 30 yards- 40 yards and set my last pin at 60 yards. That means I would have to split my 40 and 60 yards pin for a 50 yards shot.

Does this sound like a horrible idea or is it common for people to do that?

Im open for any suggestions or if someone has a 5 or 7 pin sight they want to get rid of!

Thanks

I agree with the 30, 40, 50, 60 set up the others mentioned. This is off course if your pin gap isnt too significant between 10-30. If your bow is pretty modern and average in speed for today's compounds you should be fine with your first pin at 30.
