3p KUIU Mountain Star Tent

I have. 3 people. It worked well, though I will warn with 3 people, the vestibules get very tight. And what people do seem to get confused about with tent sizes, 3p means 3 people laying the same foot to head direction side by side. Nothing more or less. One thing to note, there is a right direction for your head to go. the tents are tapered slightly and their is a venting side to help[ with condensation.

I've got the 1p, 2p, and 3pm mountain star as well as the 2p storm star. Big fan of all of them for their purposes. Main reason I got the 3p was for some extra space when its nasty out with 2 people. Its not just wider but taller.

One downside to this size tent is foot print. Its harder to find a big enough, suitable area, to pitch it. But no other complaints.
I know this is an old thread but was just wondering because I'm looking to get either the 2P or 3P mountain star... which is your preferred choice for 2 guys? I'm 5'9" and my 15 year old son is 5'7". He doesn't hunt with me all the time, but sometimes. Thanks.

I have a 3 person mountain star that has been used for two seasons in AK. It is perfect for two guys - we sleep on cots and they both fit. Each guy gets their own vestibule for boots, gear, etc.
