I have the ph2 in a 300prc. I like the stock, it fits me well, the palm swell and vertical grip are nice. Mine has a 26” barrel, I don’t mind it at all. I put a 4 port ti pro brake on it and can spot my impacts. The magazine is secure and doesn’t rattle. For the Seekins fans other then price and weight any first hand opinions on the Havak PH2? I kind of like the longer barrel and the Remington footprint.

My only dislikes are it didn’t come with a picatinny rail and it requires you to use the seekins magazines.
Pic rail for the stock. Love that the action came with an integrated 20moa rail.Pic rail for the stock or for your optic? Pretty sure they all come standard with the pic rail for your optic.... I had to add a rail for my stock to mount a bipod. Took 5 min or so to do.
Op - I'm in the Seekins camp as well. Had a PH1 in 6 CM that shot very well. I had another 6 CM custom built for thermal use, so I sold the PH1. I picked up an Element in 6.5 PRC this summer and it's been a shooter as well. I went Element for the shorter barrel.
Well, if it's a CA they will make it right and you won't have to search further.
...CA has a reputation for resolving issues including a new barrel if necessary.
They were very friendly on the phone and asked me all the normal stuff, torque, what ammo, etc. so we will see when they respond and after I get the rifle back. It is the worst shooting rifle I have ever owned, but very nice fit and feel so hopefully they can find something wrong and correct it.Longway...this does not mean they make shit rifles, only that if there does happen to be a problem they make it right. A reputation of customer satisfaction vs a reputation of ignoring the client. The former is what we want in any company making anything. Go ahead, tell me any other rifle building company producing in volume (not your 7K rifle custom guy) that does not have issues with some of their rifles that the client isn't happy with. If they make it right, why fret?
Slow speeds or not what the box claims. I reload and am stocked with components.Out of curiosity, what are the Hornady ammo issues?
If the OP reloads, quality brass from ADG and Peterson is available.
