35mm Film Photos

Never thought about bringing mine, but I love the idea. I take an insane amount of photos with my phone, and maybe focusing on a few photos with the film camera would help that problem. Plus, I just love the feel of a film camera and the anticipation of finding out whether I took any good pics.

I shot thousands of 35mm frames BITD and recently went through the "keepers" to have them scanned/digitized. I quickly tossed geography and architecture pics that are easily reproduced today (or poached from the interwebs) and kept the good looking pictures of friends and family.

After looking at the JPGs on the computer, probably 50% or less of the scans were worth keeping, and that was already biased towards those I have a sentimental attachment to.

The whole effort was kind of a shame and disappointing unfortunately. The service provider was great.
I do like the ambiance of the old 35mm pictures though, so I should build a filter to "age" some of my digitals.
