Help getting 10 posts

I’m kind of new to hunting and I’ve spent most of my time lurking on here trying to learn. I don’t have much experience so I don’t have much to contribute in the forums but I would like to purchase from the classifieds. Does anyone have some suggestions on how to get my 10 posts?

Don’t be shy. I have nearly 2200 posts and the vast majority of them are probably considered useless.

307 is on target...don't be shy and ask sincere questions on topics you find interesting and want to learn more about. There is a wealth of knowledge in the members of RS.

I was hesitant at first, but ultimately realized that as long as I wasn't spot/unit burning, then I was good.

You may get ridiculed once or twice (like I did), but you'll learn from that both on the forum and in the field.

As already said, find threads on topics you’re interested in and ask questions! Any question, no matter how dumb it might seem, still isn’t as dumb as commenting “good info, thanks” on a thread from 8 years ago…. especially when the info isn’t even very good.

Here’s a thought – you state that you’re fairly new to hunting so instead of doing useless post think of legitimate questions and ask for suggestions or recommendations on various topics.

Think about the species you wanna hunt, the weapon you wanna hunt with, and just general questions about tactics, animal habits, etc. So get your 10 post in and start building your outdoor knowledge at the same time

Don’t worry about that, I have over 6000 useless posts. Good advice above and I’ll add that it’s ok to ask what seems repetitive, for example an eight year old post on a specific piece of gear doesn’t necessarily cover options available today so go ahead and ask that question again.
