325 dilemma

I got a 325wsm mountain ti. Haven’t shot it in a while. The thin barrel heats up quickly, but I’ve gotten some good groups with double tap and Winchester ammo. You can’t take too many shots without the groups spreading. I loaded some of that brass and will see how it does. I got the Kimber Super America in a 325wsm also. They’re fun to shoot.

I know this rifle shoots better than I can, it’s just tough to hold dead steady like slightly heavier rifles. I believe it’s 5.75 pounds before the scope
Thread it and add a can with break and get a different stock for it. New mcmillian stock on my Tikka 300 wsm helped a ton. Break makes it really easy to shoot. OG suppressor is going on it instead as soon as it’s out of jail.

I have deemed the 325 wsm the best cartridge for me personally with my hunting. I bought a browning a bolt mountain ti and think it is too light for me. I am shooting around 1.25” groups with it and can’t get much better with the occasional 2.5 inch flier. So I can’t shoot as well as I want with it to 400 yards in field positions. I want a little more weight in a new 325.

Do you think I’d be better off buying a model 70 extreme weather or putting a new barrel on a rem 700 300 wsm.
I only want 325 and these are the two choices I’m stuck with
On gun broker they are selling Winchester xpr’s cheaper than you can get a cheap barrel. Could thread one and be really cheap. I’ve had 3 of them and they’ve all shot well. Less recoil than the tikka. They are heavier. Gun store by me has a model 70 in 325 wsm really cheap also. But I’d dump money in the tikka if it was me

Thanks for the responses. I’ve since learned to shoot it pretty well and can get 1moa 3 shot groups with factory nosler ammo (200 gr accubonds).
I limit my max shots to 400 yards with it though. Passed on a medium sized bull 3 years ago at 500 yards right before dark.
So now it just gets carried in heavier timbered areas and my 300 wsm/30 nosler get the nod for more open country.
