300wsm vs 7prc vs 7rem mag?

Love my 300 WSM and out of a sample of 4 now 7mm PRC they are more finnicky to load accurate. I still have 2 but out to the distance I shoot flip a coin. Big fan of the 300 WSM or one the most accurate and easy to load for calibers I own. We all talk long range but I have never shot an elk past 120 yards where I hunt them.

I went to the range with my 300wsm and sat next to a guy shooting a 7PRC. He said he was getting 2890fps or so with 64gr of H4831SC over a 162gr LRX. I told him I was getting 2,885fps with 64gr of H4350 over 175gr LRX. He said he was at a lower node and I think he had a 22” barrel. I have a 20”. After looking at his set up and load and then looking at mine, I’ll just stick with my 300wsm.

I know at 500-700yds the 7PRC will get me. But I get so much good out of my short action, I’ll just stay with it.
