300 RUM with 225 eldm

Is anyone using 225eldm with 300 RUM? I just got a custom build back from my smith and am going to start load development with N570 or Retumbo and ADG brass. If you have worked with any of these powders and 225s in a 300 RUM I’d like to hear final load and results.

I haven't used the 225, but I load my 300 rum with 230 a tips and rl33. I believe I tried retumbo but I ended up using rl33. I'd love to get my hands on n570 though.

I’m interested to see the results with n570. In my old RUM I have loaded 180 Barnes and RL25 for years. Im interested to try this new combo out. How do you like the A-tips for hunting?

I haven't used it for hunting. I originally got the rifle to use for elr when I lived in Wyoming and had a really really long shooting range. I've since moved to the western side of Washington state and well... I no longer have a range that goes on for 2 and a half miles. If I were to use it for hunting, which I'd really like to do soon, I'd probably use a bonded bullet. Otherwise, I've been pleased with the accuracy and consistency of the a tips

I have one 300 RUM that shoots lights out using 180 Barnes with Retumo and another that shoot 182 hammers with h1000 just as well
