I'm looking to purchase a 30 cal suppressor. It will be shared between a 7.5" 300 BLK AR pistol and a 16" .308 SFAR. Weight and length are important. I want to keep it under 7" and 10 oz. Because of weight, all options are Titanium. I am not a lead slinger, so rapid fire is not a concern. Both have adjustable gas blocks, so no concern there. The .308 SFAR has a Radian Raptor-SD charging handle, for what that's worth. Both are occassional use weapons and don't see a high round count.

I have a Nomad Ti xc on order now. Should be in Jail by the weekend. A friend has one and a scythe. I think listening to both the Nomad sounds quieter. But that’s always subjective.

How’s the tone compare? My buddy has a nomad 30 and the tone sounds deeper if that makes sense

I have a scythe, ab a-10, and ab raptor 10 stack 375. All 3 work well. The 10 stack is the quietest, while the a-10 is by far the cheapest. I would buy all 3 again, well maybe not the scythe with the failures. If they solve that issue it’s an awesome can. My next one will be a ocl hydrogen L in 6.5 when they do another run.

I think the tone is a deeper tone or compared to the scythe. Standing to the side of the shooter about 20 feet it doesn’t seem to be that big of a difference. If I didn’t know which can was on I would just have to guess. They are close.

I love my ab a10. It sits on my daughters 243 and will live there until she decides she wants a different rifle. I think it’s quieter then the banish back country by a long margin.

I ended up buying the DA Nomad TI XC over the scythe because of the failure thread. But it’s still a very impressive can.

I've heard of the Scythe Ti failures, but figured most of them were on rifles much more powerful than a .308.
There is a page on here that has a big list of different failures. It does look more like magnums but there are random 280 AI and things a like.
