This is why you should stop @ 3 shots per group!

Just kidding. This a a group of 120gr V-Max from a semi custom long action Remmy 284 Winchester a bench rest friend of mine built for me.. He sure has a way with rifles. This thing is sweet. The first 3 shots went into one hole. You really have to study the petals of the hole to see the 3 different shots. Then of course,I had to toss one out to the left for 3/4". Oh well.

What range!?!?! B/c 3/4" out at 300+ is still GREAT!!

I learned the hard way that shooting groups beyond 3-shots with a hunting rifle is just burning ammo. Why? Because on the few deer I had to shoot at more than 3 times, my rifle's grouping capability was not the problem!

That was only 100 yds. I'm pretty sure it was opperator error. I hope to air it out at a 400 yd deer target shoot here as soon as the weekends are a little nicer. The 25/06 I usually use for that game was doing 2" @ 400. Not to shabby for a bedded BDL.
