I did an overnight backpacking trip into RMNP last week. I could find clear ground to set up a tent at 10,000 ft., but most of the hiking I did was above that in 3-4 feet of snow. It was still hard enough to hike on top but microspikes & trekking poles are helpful if you are up that high.

Bowen-Baker loop is awesome but you'll likely have feet of snow to contend with. My wife and I did it last September and had more fun on that trip than any other place we have been. We still talk about weekly.

Looks like they are now calling for 10 plus inches of snow around the area in lost creek I'm planning on going. Any idea how quickly that should melt? Do I need to drive further south now?

Just watched the forcast, as usual they are predicting worst case. Tomorrow morning should be a lot more accurate as the storm direction will be more clear. Hopefully it tracks north or south and misses some parts.

It doesn't look good as the entire state west of I25 is under a winter storm warning.

I was just doing that. This is right about where you would turn off 285 for lost park. Normally you can see the big mountains towards Breckenridge.

Well i just landed in Denver and it looks like I'm going to have to find something to do for the next 3 days before my meetings start. Any idea how long the snow will stick around for before it melts?
