A few years back I started carrying two pieces of flagging tape in my pocket, so that I could immediately mark where I took my bow shot from, and then exactly where the bull was standing when he was hit. Because even 30-40 yards is really tough sometimes to identify those spots after the fact, and then I'm looking for my arrow way off from where I should be.

Heck, at 1000 yards......he might have even been in the wrong drainage looking for that spot.

It is bizarre that his prior post in another thread bragging about his rifle hitting at 1010 yards, is the same yardage claimed on the shot at the bull.
