A few years back I started carrying two pieces of flagging tape in my pocket, so that I could immediately mark where I took my bow shot from, and then exactly where the bull was standing when he was hit. Because even 30-40 yards is really tough sometimes to identify those spots after the fact, and then I'm looking for my arrow way off from where I should be.

Heck, at 1000 yards......he might have even been in the wrong drainage looking for that spot.

Oh Bojangles21 now instead of Bosephus21.... Or am i seeing things like the op did when he sent one at over 1000 yards.
