Load data doesn't say what the velocity was. Im going to try it, because why not. Ive also got some IMR4955 to try as well. Because I can't resist messing with a good thing.
FYI Barnes data shows that to be running a hair over 3000 fps with a 24" tube

I've got accurate loads with 145LRX, 140 SGK, and 168 Bergers. I despise Bergers so I shoot them at rocks and paper and hunt with the LRXs. 4451 with the LRX, IMR4831 with the Sierras and the Bergers.

Why do you despise Bergers? I've had nothing but excellent results from them.

I've had more failures with Berger bullets out of multiple rifles and calibers than all other bullets combined. Lots of people love them. I'm not one of them.

You're definitely in the minority there.

Glad they worked for you. 3 different weights, in both 6.5 and 7mm loads just penciled through deer on a management shoot for us. I think 3 out of about 17 shot with Berger VLDs worked as expected, others did not. All deer were recovered, most went 150-200 yds with sparse blood trails if at all. Tracking dogs earned their keep. 15 other deer shot with Accubonds and Barnes TSX and TTSX were all bang flops from the same distances out of shooting houses and the same rifles. Lots of people have had good luck with Bergers, not me.
