Hunting riffle that was given to me I was told it used 140tsx Barnes. It’s been years and now looking to find a similar in copper. Any recommendations or where I can find the copper projectiles thanks.

I would prefer the lrx or ttsx, not the old tsx. Or maybe one of the other options like hammer or drt.
280=7mm
Tons of choices. Not clear what you are asking beyond that.

are you reloading or looking for factory ammo?

Barnes dropped the standard 280 from their loaded ammo line in the last couple of years. If you're looking for non-custom factory loaded copper ammo, I think Nosler is the only one to choose from right now in their 140gr E-tip. Which have been great out of my 280

Thanks for that it’s been a while since I picked the .280 up. And I was only told that’s what it like. I’ve never taken it out hunting my self.

Was looking for factory. But reloading is an option

I think all factory loaded copper options except for the mentioned Nosler have been discontinued for 280 rem. Factory loadings have always come and gone for 280, so there may be more options again in the future

Reloading is the way to go for 280 rem. Like folks mentioned, TTSX in 120 or 140, or LRX in 139 or 145 are great options. Hammer also has some great bullets that seem to always shoot well
