280 AI recoil w/o brake

Mine isn't that bad (8.5lbs with scope), but it is a baby with my Dead Air Nomad on it.

My 280 is right at 8 lbs. 168 lrx at 2950 and the recoil is very manageable. The stockys vg2 stock helps a lot. I would say it's about the same felt recoil as my 7lb 308.

Nice to hear you say, "The stockys vg2 stock helps a lot." I have a 280ai custom ordered with that same stock.
