What brand of bottom metal do you have? It looks like a PTG extended well?

Nice rifle man!

I snagged a Len Bachus Long Range Custom in the 28 at a great price & have it tuned in to the 195 EOL Berger. Yours has the right twist to shoot it too.

I currently have a ultralight 28 Nosler build of my own design underway. It's gonna be very sweet.

I want one of those baaaaaaaaaaad!!! Someday I'm gonna get me one! Do you love it?

I'm definitely jealous. Love everything about the gun. You might try the newer Reloder 26. It's temperature stable and should add some fps without the pressure.

I am in the process of doing test loads for Reloder 33 with 175gr Partitions and 160gr Accubonds for my 24" barrel converted 28 Nosler. Have you tried Reloder 26 and 33 in this caliber, and if so were you able to compare the two?

I use R26 in my 7wsm. I know it added about 100fps over H1000. I am in the process of ordering parts to convert my 7wsm to 28 Nosler.

I was able to push the 168 Berger VLD to 3300 without pressure in my 7wsm. It wasn't as accurate at those speeds, but dang it was screaming.

It's a sweet rifle my first custom , still need some time to work with loads as I only have retumbo for now and had limited time to play with it before I went hunting it shoots better than I can ,my smith says the the reloader33 is king in it but there hasn't been any available locally for sale so I suspect I'll try some when I find it . Got .18" group around 3 k .007 off the lands at 3.75"

Maybe this will help. It's for the Berger 195's. I emailed Berger and they sent it to me. I'm not real sure if it's proprietary info or not, the email didn't say not to share.

I have a custom 28. Have fantastic accuracy at 81.5g of Retumbo running 3044 FPS with the 195s...

I bet N570 would be the perfect powder for the 195s, anyone tried it?

I've got five pounds or more R33. If you're in the Denver area you're welcome to try some.

I appreciate the offer parsbal but I'm in Virginia, don't get me wrong the retumbo shoots good I got around under .25" group with it and it may do better at 3100 I started to see a light extractor mark . I received the rifle not long before my hunt so I didn't get to play a whole lot , I did get a cow with it in Colorado that 195 Berger did a number on the shoulder of the cow

I'm building a 28 now. I'm going to try 570 and retumbo. 33 has been way to temp sensitive in my testing to mess with anymore.
